"I use The Master Tactician" - Sam Allardyce, West Ham Manager

Well as the name suggests, it is the education and training arm of the NLFA. Our aim is to be the driving force to furthering education and training opportunities for our players and the wider communities that support them.
We will do this by offering low cost, high quality training, both on-line and through hard copy training materials supported by competent and qualified delivery staff.
We have been innovative in the design of these materials by writing programmes that underpin mainstream qualifications on the Qualifications and Curriculum Framework (QCF) enabling participants on our programmes to use the knowledge they gain to support their further education goals.
The courses available will be continually developed and added to, and we will therefore be asking member clubs and supporters for their input into the types of courses and training they would like to be available.
NLFA Education wants to embrace a broader social responsibility by supporting young people not in education or employment (NEET) to develop the skills and attitudes they need to get more engaged with their communities and become active and responsible citizens. This in itself will require the active participation of local clubs to provide opportunities for these young people to learn and develop the competencies related to responsible decision-making behaviour.

Following on from the FA’s ‘Respect’ programme and the Kick Racism Out of Football campaign, NLFA Education has embedded Equality and Diversity into its courses and culture. We see this as an active step towards acknowledging and respecting the differences within and between the different groups of people accessing our clubs and in our communities.
